Megan and I at MAGGIES!
Today was such a wonderful day I just have too much happiness to just hold it inside of me before I pass out...it's 2:15 am and I have had such a fulfilled day. The morning came way too early at 7:30 am when I got ready for my convo with Turner Broadcasting in Atlanta.
Upon arriving I had a wonderful conversation with a very insightful man and got a tour and lunch from my time there. I just love having life convos with people who have followed their hearts up to that point in their life.
After leaving I went home to Fayetteville and got to see my sister and catch some rays in the sun while reading some trashy magazines...poor Sandra Bullock. After that we finally got the phone call from the doctor saying MIMIS kidneys were working better and that she should be able to monitor it! SO BLESSED AND THANKFUL.
My mom then prepared a beautiful dinner and I made a quilt picture blanket thing...No i didnt sew it, but I cut out pictures and put it in there! It was just so fun to have dinner and laugh with my family. I swear we are the strangest family in the world, and I absolutely love it. I swear we talk about the grossest things and are so silly around each other my abs hurt from laughing..I also came to a realization..
This is probably the blondest thing I have ever said but I will confess I thought ham came from a ham. I know I know, ham is not an animal, but I never really processed that untiil tonight...my dad got a kick out of this and made remarks about how this "endangered" animal needed to be eaten. I just didn't know it was a pig. I swear..ahhh... haha my mom got an even bigger kick out of this because I just got offered to be a part of this honor society that she was in and claims it is a big deal and yet I dont know what a ham actually is. : / I should probably delete this post huh?
After dinner and LOTS of dessert I went over to Maggies to paint easter eggs and hang out. Britt stayed in town so we got to see her and sarah and matt and daniel and chase and brooke and jason! We laughed for hours about high school memories. I haven't laughed that hard in so long. One story we were telling we realized that it was 8 years ago when we were freshmen in high school..HOLY CRAPPOLI! We felt so old and yet still so young! Such a great fun night!
